Main components of the drive system

Switchgear
: comprises one of the following switches or a combination of them:
• Main circuit breaker (MCB), external to the drive
• Combined input disconnector and grounding switch (option)
• Input contactor (option)

Integrated converter transformer
: the multi-winding converter transformer adapts the line
voltage to the required motor voltage. The protection for the transformer is
always included.

Motor
: For more information, see the induction motor specification.
