The Aastra 470 communications server ships with a plug-in processor card (call Man-
ager card) with colour display, 4 analogue terminal interfaces and 3 Gbit-LAN connec-
tions. A second CPU card (applications card) can be fitted as an option. It contains the
pre-installed applications server for unified communications and multimedia services.

Positioning
Applications range from small businesses or branches to large companies at one or
more locations. Up to 36 users can be operated on the Aastra 470 communication
server without licensing. And with an expansion licence up to 400 users are possible.

Networking Possibilities
Aastra 400 communication servers at different company locations, even beyond
national borders, can be linked together to form an enterprise-wide private com-
munication network with a common numbering plan. The following networking
types are possible:
