2. UNPACKING THE BALANCE

2-1 Unpacking

The balance is a precision instrument. Unpack the balance carefully. Keep the packing

material to be used for transporting the balance in the future.

The packing contents depend on the balance model. See the illustrations to confirm that

everything is contained.

Note
Please confirm that the AC adapter type is correct
for your local voltage and receptacle type.

The AC adapter plug is

protected against dust

and may be difficult to

insert. When inserting

the plug, turn the plug

while pushing on it.

When attaching the pan

support, use much care not

to deform the diaphragm.

To use as a dust and waterproof

balance, cover the RS-232C

interface connector, or connect the

waterproof RS-232C cable

(AX-KO0273-500).
