 Spinner Sun/Wind Sensor

1. To wake the sensor up for the first time, press the

reset

button. The screen will come on after a few seconds.

Until this is done, the sensor will generally not operate.

2. Adjusting Sun settings

Warning: In most cases it is not recommended to use the sun settings, as automated and unattended

operation of awnings can lead to possibly undesired or dangerous operation.

To ignore sun operation, make sure sun settings are set to “0.0”

1. Tap ‘M” to bring up display if it is blank.
2. Press and hold “M” for about 2 seconds and the digits will start flashing along with the sun symbol.
3. Use the “UP” button to count up and the “A” button to count down. Holding either button will cause

the unit to count faster.
4. Each full digit is 1000 Lux. You can set up to 100,000 Lux.

3. Adjusting Wind settings

1. Tap ‘M” to bring up display if it is blank.
2. Press and hold “M” for about 2 seconds and the digits will start flashing along with the sun symbol

3. Tap “M” again and the Flag (wind symbol) will appear, and the digits will flash.
4. Use the “UP” button to count up and the “A” button to count down. Holding down either button will

cause the unit to count faster in that direction.
5. The numbers in the display are the actual wind speed you are setting, from 0.1 kmh to 180 kmh.

For a folding arm awning, a speed of between 15 – 25 kmh would be normal. Higher settings can be used

for Zip systems.

NOTE: once the wind has triggered the awning to retract, a zip system or guided awning will not react to
the sensor again for 8 minutes, but the remote will still work.
For folding arm awnings, neither the sensor nor the remote will work for 8 minutes.

4, Adjustable wind intensity range: 0~180Km/h; sunlight intensity range: 0~100Klux.
5, Once the wind intensity exceeds the setting level, the sensor will send signals to the motor automatically to close the awning
    within 3S.
6, When the sunlight intensity exceeds the setting level continuously more than 2 minutes, the sensor will send signals to open
the awning and will not detect the sunlight intensity within 15 minutes; when the sunlight intensity hasn't less than the setting
level continuously more than 15 minutes, the sensor will send signals to close the awning.
