3.1 POSITIONING AND INSTALLATION
Removal of the shipping crate
Carefully unpack the unit from shipping crate and examine for damage in shipment.
Authorized installation only

IonJet2000 must be installed by professionals certified by AAVI Technologies Ltd.
Installation indoors

IonJet2000 integrated automation unit air purifier
Installation outdoors
AAVI
®
IonJet2000 air purifier is meant for indoors, but it can be installed outdoors when certain
issues are taken into consideration.
The control box of
AAVI
®
IonJet2000 must always be installed indoors.
AAVI
®
IonJet2000 can also be used for cleaning sub-zero air by using above mentioned IonJet™
technology, but the automatic cleaning process is not available if temperature drops below + 5 ˚C.
Temperature and water wash
AAVI
®
IonJet2000 prevents any usage of water if the intake air temperature drops below + 5 ˚C
meaning that ionization chamber’s automatic cleaning operation is prevented temporarily.
Attaching to the ground, base or floor
When installed outdoors carefully attach the purifier unit tightly to the ground or base. When
installed indoors check that the device is standing firmly on the floor and if needed do attach it
to the wall or floor.
Electricity requirements
Depending on the used external fan power requirements AAVI
®
IonJet2000 is connected to
either 3-phase 400VAC or 1-phase 230VAC main voltage. Internally AAVI
®
IonJet2000 operates
with 1-phase 230VAC.
Water supply and pressure requirements
AAVI
®
IonJet2000 needs water supply for water wash.
AAVI
®
IonJet2000 can be connected to main water network to all standard ducts for water
intake and wastewater output. However, the pressure in the pipeline requires 4–6 bar or
otherwise the pressure needs to be increased. The main valve must have a mechanically closable
valve (by hand) for safety reasons.
Service time
The service time is set for 4000 hours, the yellow status light for service will be ON when
service time of 4000 hours is reached.
