7.5 Quick guide
1. Position the defocus lever of the C-Pro to position "F".
2. Adjust the focus on the adjusting ring according to the operating distance of the
microscope.
!!! At this time, all persons in the room must wear appropriate laser protection goggles!!!
3. Set the laser to Ready mode.
4. Carry out the focusing of the target beam via the adjusting ring under microscopic
view with the help of the activated target beam. The intensity is highest in the
focus.
5. The magnification of the microscope can now be adjusted as required.
7.6 C-Pro performance test after installation
To ensure that the C-Pro is working well, please perform the following test routine after
installation.
1. Put a wooden spatula in focus of operation microscope
2. Set laser to ready mode
3. Adjust working distance of C-Pro as described in chapter 7.1
4. Shoot the laser to the spatula:
2 W, 100 ms Single Pulse
5. Red aiming beam and dark spot of laser penetration must be at the same position
6. Working defocused:
the maximum intensity of the aming beam must be congruent to the strongest
interaction of laser beam
(lever in Position D, 4 W, cw
– shoot until carbonization appears)
!!! If the performance test failed, please do not execute an operation!!!
