6.4 Spot Diameters and Energy Densities
The following table contains a list of the diameters of the focused laser beam as a function
of the operating distance

Since spot size and laser power are set independently of each other, it is necessary to
check the power setting after changing the spot size as the energy density changes.
The energy density is the distribution of the power to a specific area of the treatment area.
The larger the beam diameter is set, the lower the energy density for the same laser
parameters.
