True process control in rotomolding is not possible without real-time
temperature monitoring.

Measuring the temperature of the material inside the mold has practical
difficulties, but measuring temperature of the air inside the mold is easier.

Temperature of air inside the mold closely tracks temperature of material and
identifies all the key events during a cycle (eg melting, correct cure, release of
material during cooling).

K-PAQ overcomes practical difficulties in measuring temperature during
rotomolding (biaxial rotation), using insulated and cooled canister to contain
sensitive electronics.
