5-3-3. How to Replace the Condenser Lens

Caution

Handle the lens carefully to prevent chipping or
scratching the surface during installation.

1. Remove the hot mirror. Section 5-3-2.

2. Unscrew four retaining screws securing condenser

lens to bracket. Figure 5-17.

3. Carefully remove two metal retainers and

condenser lens.

4. Reassemble in reverse order.

Unplug projector power cord before performing
any maintenance to electrical components.

1. Unplug power cord from electrical outlet.

2. Open the top cover.

1. Release the spring clip and open the top assembly.

Figure 5-15.

2. Remove lamps from lamp socket.

3. Unscrew two retaining screws securing lamp

socket. Figure 5-19.

4. Disconnect lamp socket wire connectors from the

control module. Figure 5-13.

5. Reassemble in reverse order.
