Operator Interface
The operator interface has a 17-inch high-resolution flat panel display with USB port for the
keyboard. The standard keyboard is black with a port for the USB mouse. The mouse has a slide-
out mouse accessory. There is one auxiliary USB port and a small shelf that hold a portable
memory stick/CD-ROM/DVD. Note that the CD-ROM/DVD will not be provided but must be
available to enable a customer to transfer large files or to load s/w when the machine is not
connected to a network.
There is a control panel with a separate emergency stop for safety. The e-stop is tied to safety
circuitry and removes power from the motion system, heaters, laser, and other things when
pressed.
The chamber light switch is a lighted switch that turns the chamber light on and off when pressed
by stating CHAMBER LIGHT.
The laser-on indicator light shows when the laser contractor is on and then the laser may be on by
indicating LASER ON.
The lighted switch for system start-up is SYSTEM ENABLE.
SYSTEM SECURE indicates that all interlocks are closed.
All cabling and wiring is enclosed in the hardware.
The support arm must allow for the vertical location of the op interface to change as between an
operator’s sitting and standing position. Tools can change the vertical location.
