1. Safety instructions
The light sensor must only be used for educa-
tional purposes!
The light sensor is not suitable for safety-
related applications!
2. Description
Sensor box incorporating photodiode with opti-
cal filter for the measurement of light intensity
(illuminance), especially in the visible region.
Push-button selection of measurement ranges
600 lx, 6000 lx or 150000 lx, with visual indica-
tion of range.
8 mm light tube for excluding unwanted light
from sides.
The sensor box and range setting are recog-
nised automatically by the 3B NET
log
TM
.

5. Operation
Place the sensor box close to the experi-
ment.
Read off the light intensity value on the
display of the 3B NET
log
TM
.
If the light intensity exceeds the measure-
ment range, switch to the next higher
range.
