Choice 5: Windows 98 SE, ME, or 2000 computer
with USB port
Note:
In a HomePortal home network, only one Windows 98 SE, ME, or 2000
computer with USB port can be connected via USB. USB/HomePortal
connectivity is not available for Macintosh, Windows 95 or Windows NT.
To add a computer to your network via USB:
1.
Connect the included ivory-colored USB cable to the HomePortal
PC
port
(2nd plug from bottom) and the computer’s USB port.
2.
Power on your computer.
Note:
The following screens may vary somewhat on Windows ME and
Windows 2000.
