Note:
►
In order to synchronize the clips, there has to be an available clock.
Blackbox only uses the clock when in Play mode. Therefore, you must
push
Play
before playback of a clip pad will begin. If you trigger a clip
pad before you push
Play
, a white bar will appear below the pad to
show that it is queued up and ready to start. The name of the pad in
the top right corner of the parameters screen will be replaced with a
white square until you push
Play
.
Work with a Clip Pad
Use Clip Mode for WAV files where you want to use synchronized
loops and quantized playback for the entire WAV file. Clip Mode
works well with drum loops between one and eight measures long,
but there is no hard limit to the length. This is the only Pad Mode
that supports beat synchronization. An example of a file that works
well with Clip Mode is
\SoundtrackLoops\SL LoFi Hip Hop2\SY L
Pad14 A Melody2 08
. This clip is used in the preset
SL LOFI HIP HOP
KIT 2.
