INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing this Siemens product. Please read and follow
these instructions carefully.

MOUNT TYPE

This lens is designed for use with 1/2 inch C-mount CCD cameras
(17.526mm flange dimension). When fitting the lens to a CS-mount
camera, an adapter ring must be used to ensure correct flange position
(supplied free of charge with all Siemens cameras).

MOUNTING TO THE CAMERA

The lens is installed by screwing it clockwise into the mount on the CCTV
camera. Having screwed the lens in as far as it will go, you can rotate the
lens chassis back to suit the setup position of the camera.

IRIS

If the camera is fitted with a selection switch for Video and DC, set it to
DC.

TO INSURE LONG-TERM RELIABILITY

Remove dust from the lens using a blower or soft brush. Avoid touching the
lens surface.
Use lens cleaning paper or a clean cotton cloth with a little cleaning liquid to
remove finger prints or oil stains from the lens surface. Start in the centre of
the lens and work outwards. Avoid using organic solvents such as thinner or
benzene.
