Nota:
•
Antes de finalizar la instalación de la unidad,
conecte el cableado temporariamente, asegurán-
dose de que todo se encuentra conectado apropi-
adamente, y la unidad y el sistema funcionan
apropiadamente.
•
Utilice solamente las partes incluídas con la
unidad para asegurar una instalación adecuada.
El uso de partes no autorizadas puede ocasionar
fallas de funcionamiento.
•
Si la instalación requiere del taladrado de orifi-
cios u otras modificaciones del vehículo, consulte
con su agente o concesionario más cercano a su
domicilio.
•
Instale la unidad en donde no interfiera con el
conductor y no pueda lesionar al pasajero en caso
de una parada repentina, tal como una frenada de
emergencia.
•
Asegúrese de fijar seguramente la antena. De no
hacerlo, puede resultar en daños de que se salga
cuando el vehículo se encuentra en movimiento.
•
Para asegurar de que la antena se encuentra mon-
tada seguramente, fíjela cuando el tiempo está
bueno. Si la monta cuando las condiciones están
húmedas, o cuando está lloviendo o con neblinas,
la cinta de doble adhesión se adherirá menos
seguramente, y la antena puede salirse fácil-
mente.
•
No toque las superficies de adhesión de la cinta
de doble adhesión, ni fije la cinta sobre una
superficie más de una vez ya que esto reduce la
fuerza de adhesión de la cinta, facilitando así que
la antena se salga.
•
Asegúrese de limpiar la superficie en donde va a
fijar la antena con el limpiador suministrado,
usando un paño limpio para retirar toda
humedad, suciedad y aceite. De no retirar la
humedad y aceite puede reducir la fuerza de
adhesión de la cinta de doble adhesión, facilitan-
do así que la antena se salga.
•
Para evitar ruidos, ubique el cable de la antena
DAB tan alejado como sea posible de los cables
de alimentación, cables de altavoces, cable de
antena de radio y otros cables en el vehículo.
También, cuando utiliza con una unidad de nave-
gación móvil, ubique la antena DAB y el cable
de antena tan alejado como sea posible de la
antena GPS y la unidad de navegación.
Instalación de la unidad de antena
Instalación en el techo (Fig. 1)
Se recomienda la instalación de la unidad de
antena en el centro del borde trasero del techo.
1. Quite el sello de protección, y monte
en el techo. (Fig. 2)
2. Encamine el cable de la antena de
modo que alcance la entrada para
antena DAB. (Fig. 3)
1. Abrazadera
Nota:
• Asegure el cable de antena con la abrazadera
suministrada en donde sea requerido.
• Instale la antena de modo que no se sobresalga del
largo/anchura total del vehículo.
• Instale la antena en una superficie plana tanto
como sea posible.
• La ranura en el borde de caucho de la antena es
para ajustar el ángulo con una llave hexagonal.
ADVERTENCIA:
•
Mantenga el limpiador fuera del alcance de
niños pequeños. Si el limpiador fuera
ingerido, procure un médico inmediatamente.
PRECAUCION
•
Para instalar la unidad de antena se requiere
de un alto grado de habilidad o pericia, de
modo que haga instalar la antena por un
instalador profesional de Pioneer.

Note:
•
Before finally installing the unit, connect the
wiring temporarily, making sure it is all connect-
ed up properly, and the unit and the system work
properly.
•
Use only the parts included with the unit to
ensure proper installation. The use of unautho-
rized parts can cause malfunctions.
•
Consult with your nearest dealer if installation
requires the drilling of holes or other modifica-
tions of the vehicle.
•
Install the unit where it does not get in the dri-
ver’s way and cannot injure the passenger if there
is a sudden stop, like an emergency stop.
•
Be sure to stick on the antenna securely. Failing
to do so may result in the danger of it becoming
detached while the vehicle is moving.
•
To assure the antenna is securely mounted, stick
it on the weather is fine. If you mount it when
conditions are humid, or when it’s raining or
misty, the double-sided tape will adhere less
securely, and the antenna may easily come off.
•
Do not touch the sticky surfaces of the double-
sided tape or stick the tape on a surface more
than once as this reduces the tape’s adhesive
strength, making it easier for the antenna to
become detached.
•
Be sure to clean the surface you are going to
stick the antenna to with the supplied cleaner,
using a clean cloth to remove all moisture, dirt
and oil. Failing to remove moisture and oil may
reduce the double-sided tape’s adhesive strength,
making it easier for the antenna to become
detached.
•
To prevent noise, locate the DAB antenna cable
as far away as possible from power cords, speak-
er cables, radio antenna cable and other cords in
the vehicle. Also, when using with a mobile navi-
gation unit, locate the DAB antenna and antenna
cord as far away as possible from the GPS anten-
na and the navigation unit.
Inatalling the Antenna Unit
Installing on the roof (Fig. 1)
It is recommended that you install the antenna
unit in the center of the rear edge of the roof.
1. Peel off the protective seal, and
mount on the roof. (Fig. 2)
2. Route the antenna cable so it
reaches the DAB antenna input.

Note:
• Secure the antenna cable with the supplied clamp
where required.
• Install the antenna so it doesn’t protrude from the
total lengh/width of the car.
• Please install the antenna on as flat a place as
possible.
• The slit on the rubber fringe of the antenna is for
adjusting the angle with the hexagonal wrench.
WARNING:
•
Keep the cleaner out of reach of children.
If the cleaner is ingested, call a physician
immediately.
CAUTION
•
A high degree of skill is required to install
the antenna unit, so have it installed by a
professional Pioneer installer.

Die Antenne bei gutem Wetter anbringen, um
sicherzustellen, daß sie richtig sitzt. Wenn sie bei
hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit, Regen oder Nebel
montiert wird, haftet das doppelseitige
Klebeband nicht so gut, und die Antenne kann
sich leicht lösen.
•
Die Haftflächen des doppelseitigen Klebebands
nicht berühren und dieses nicht öfter als einmal
aufkleben, da seine Haftfähigkeit anderenfalls
beeinträchtigt wird, und sich die Antenne leichter
lösen kann.
•
Die Anbringfläche für die Antenne unbedingt mit
dem mitgelieferten Reiniger und einem sauberen
Tuch reinigen. Feuchtigkeit, Schmutz und Öl
vollständig beseitigen. Feuchtigkeits- und
Ölrückstände vermindern die Haftfähigkeit des
Klebebands, so daß sich die Antenne leicht lösen
kann.
•
Um Störungen zu vermeiden, DAB-
Antennenkabel möglichst weit entfernt von
Stromversorgungskabeln, Lautsprecherkabeln,
Radioantennenkabel und anderen Kabeln im
Fahrzeug positionieren. Bei Gebrauch mit einer
mobilen Navigationseinheit außerdem DAB-
Antenne und Antennenkabel möglichst weit von
GPS-Antenne und Navigationseinheit entfernt
positionieren.
Anbringen der Antenneneinheit
Installation auf dem Dach (Abb. 1)
Es empfiehlt sich, die Antenneneinheit in der
Mitte der hinteren Dachkante zu installieren.
1. Ziehen Sie den Schutzstreifen ab,
und montieren Sie die Einheit auf
dem Dach. (Abb. 2)
2. Verlegen Sie das Antennenkabel so,
daß es den DAB-Antenneneingang
erreicht. (Abb. 3)
1. Klemme
Hinweis:
• Das Antennenkabel mit der mitgelieferten
Klemme bedarfsgemäß sichern.
• Die Antenne so anbringen, daß sie nicht vorne,
hinten oder an einer Seite vom Wagen vorsteht.
• Die Antenne an einer möglichst flachen Stelle
anbringen.
• Der Schlitz an der Gummieinfassung der Antenne
dient zur Einstellung des Winkels mit dem
Sechskantschlüssel.
WARNUNG:
•
Sorgen Sie dafür, daß Kinder keinen Zugang
zum Reiniger haben. Bei oraler Einnahme ist
unverzüglich ein Arzt zu rufen.
