Warnings and cautions

 

The Optos arm rest MUST be operated within the safety parameters and instructions defined in the 

Optos Table User Guide.

 

If you have any questions regarding the correct use of the Optos arm rest, please contact your Optos representative before 

attempting to operate the Optos arm rest. 
 

 

WARNING 

Do NOT lean on the arm rest. 
Ensure the patient or operator’s arm is NOT trapped or impacted when the arm 

rest position is adjusted or when Optos table height is adjusted. 
Incorrect positioning of the arm rest MAY result in patient harm. 

 

 

CAUTION 

 
The Optos Table legs and arm rest fixing points protrude. The patient and 

operator must take care when moving around the table. 
If you suspect the arm rest is faulty, or if the pad becomes worn or damaged, 

please contact your Optos representative. 
In order to prevent any contamination always clean and disinfect parts of the 

equipment which will be in contact with the patient. 
Avoid contact with injured skin or mucous membranes. 
Be careful NOT to damage the arm rest when cleaning. 
You should be aware of your contractual obligations before disposing of any 

equipment.
