Drive User Notes
Refer to your workstation owner’s guide or your disk drive installa-
tion guide for detailed information about installing your disk drive.
Note that the disk drive tray contains the mounting screws used to
mount the disk in the tray.
Notice: We recommend that you use SCSI ID 6 for your worksta-
tion’s first disk drive, and SCSI ID 5 for the second hard disk drive.
These disk drives support the hot-plug feature. For detailed informa-
tion on using the hot-plug capabilities of these disk drives, see your
owner’s guide.
Minimum Software Requirements
The 9-GB and 18-GB disk drives are fully operational with HP-UX
10.20 Workstation ACE (June 1999) or later. No additional software
patches are required.
